Features
Formulation:
Marathon Multi-Purpose Hydraulic Oils are formulated with high
VI basestocks and an additive package that provides protection
against rust, oxidation, corrosion, foaming, and wear.
ISO Grades:
Available in four commonly used ISO grades: 32, 46, 68, and
100.
Approved
Product: Approved by Vickers and Denison for HFO, HF1,
HF2. Approved by Cincinnati Milacron for P-68 (ISO 32), P-70
(ISO 46), and P-69 (ISO 68).
Turbine Oil
Quality: Exceed 2,000 hours in the ASTM D-943 steam
turbine oxidation test.
Anti-Wear
Protection: Contain a zinc compound that minimizes wear of
hydraulic system components.
Demulsibility:
Marathon Multi-Purpose Hydraulic Oils promote fast separation
of water in sumps for easy drain-off.
Applications
Marathon
Multi-Purpose Hydraulic Oils are recommended for use in
hydraulic systems with vane, gear, screw, and radial pumps.
Other applications include air compressors, circulating
systems, and enclosed gear cases.
Minimize
Misapplication Problems: The multiple application
capability of these oils minimizes the possibility of
misapplication problems that can occur when more than one
quality level of oil is available.
